Light Flow allows you to take control of your notification LED colors and makes them successively flash one color after another.



It also allows you to set repeating sounds on vibration patterns for you notifications. You can also set a “sleep” mode or “on charge” where the lights and/or sounds and vibrations will not be heard or seen. If you’ve come from a Blackberry device and miss the features of BeBuzz / BerryBuzz then give LightFlow a try!

This program will allow you to control the notification color for the over 250 applications and system events such as:

gmail
email
SMS messages
MMS messages
Low battery
No signal
Google talk
Facebook
Twitter

It allows the colors to flash in succession, so if you have a new SMS and a missed call it can alternate between the two colors. You can also set which notification type has the highest priority and let it flash in just that one color.

There’s different profiles for when your phone is charging and when it is running on battery. If you find it eats your battery too much for your liking then you can change settings to conserve the battery use.

Quickly is a simple app that creates an ongoing notification in your notification drawer filled with up to 12 shortcuts to an application launcher or applications that you can configure.

Once the notification is created, expand the notification to see the shortcuts.

The nice thing about Quickly is that it never runs in the background, and the only system resource it uses is about 800kb for it’s notification. It’s lightweight and efficient and will remain that way.

NOTE:
If you’re using a Android 4.1 you will have to use a pinch-to-expand gesture to show the shortcuts when the notification is collapsed.

“This addon uses pinch motions, not swipe motions. pinch from center to edge of notification area to get the shortcuts to display, and from edge to center to collapse it.”

Windows Phone Notifications displays Windows Phone styled non-intrusive notification banners for any app on your device.
You can swipe the notification to the right to dismiss it, to the left to dismiss all notifications, or click it to launch it.

How to use it :
Click on the notification to launch it
Swipe it to the right to dismiss it
Swipe to the left to clear all upcoming notifications from the same app/contact

Note that dismissing the notification won’t remove it from the status bar (the Android OS doesn’t currently allow to manually remove 3rd party apps notifications from the status bar).
