200+ themes can be downloaded from Theme Store on left-side bar.
2. Unable to send MMS?
MMS problems may caused by different factors, such as Android versions, networks connectivity, phone models, etc. If you encounter this kind of problem, please email us with the detail info and we will try to fix it on ad-hoc basis.

Note:

If you are having problems receiving notifications, you may need to uninstall 3rd party messengers such as Go SMS.
When using this app, do not disable the stock messaging app as I use it to permanently save messages to the phone. You can however, disable notifications for it so that you don’t receive 2 of them.

This is a Paid No-Ads version of the Ad-Supported Free App.

Note: On newer phones with inbuilt storage the default backup location will probably be the internal storage card and not the external. This is because the phone reports the storage that way. If you intend to do a factory reset on the phone, please make sure you save/email a copy of the backup outside the phone before doing the reset.

NOTE:
There is a known problem with some firmware versions of the Droid X and Droid 2 phones that the restored messages do not get the correct time stamps.

This App needs the following permissions to work:
Storage – modify/delete SD card contents (android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): To create the xml file on the SD card.
Your messages – edit SMS or MMS, read SMS or MMS (android.permission.READ_SMS, android.permission.WRITE_SMS): Needed to read SMS during backups and write them during restore.
Your personal information – read contact data (android.permission.READ_CONTACTS): To display and store the contact names in the backup file.
System tools – prevent phone from sleeping (android.permission.WAKE_LOCK): To prevent the phone from going to sleep/suspended state while a backup or restore operation is in progress.
Hardware controls – control vibrator (android.permission.VIBRATE): To vibrate the phone when the backup or restore operation is completed.

Tired of putting down your Android tablet to check a new SMS on your phone? Me too. Cloud SMS is run on both your phone and tablet to allow you to send and receive SMS messaging from your tablet. My design goal was to build upon the stock Android Messaging app feel, with simplicity in mind.

This app works over the Internet and does not require bluetooth, does not share (or transmit) your contacts, and even hashes your account email for added security. All messages are transmitted over HTTPS with a high level of encryption for an added measure of security and privacy.

Setup Requirements:
Install and run on tablet.
Install and run on phone.
All done – send your first SMS from your tablet!

Looking to send a message to a phone number instead of a contact? *
Open Settings and change the Contact List Style to Contact Search / Number Entry. This option allows you to choose a contact by name with auto-complete, or by entering a phone number for the recipient.
Important Notes:

You will need to have the same Google account on both devices. If you have multiple accounts, you may have to select the correct account in settings.
MMS is not supported at this time, but will be added in the future.
